Meet Attorney Demi Lamas
Demi’s journey into estate planning began after navigating a personal family emergency that highlighted the importance of preparing for life’s unexpected moments. This experience inspired her to dedicate her career to helping families feel secure, informed, and supported through some of their most important decisions.
A proud graduate of Florida International University Honors College, Demi earned her Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and International Business in 2020, followed by her Juris Doctor from FIU College of Law in 2023. She is an active member of the Florida Bar, the Young Lawyers Division, and the American Bar Association.
Experience Rooted in Estate Planning
Before founding Lamas Law, Demi gained extensive hands-on experience at an estate planning law firm, where she spent nearly two years developing the practical skills, legal insight, and client-centered approach she brings to her practice today. Her background gives her a strong foundation in wills, trusts, and other essential estate planning tools that help families safeguard their futures.
Demi also worked with FIU Law’s Business Innovation & Technology Clinic, assisting Miami small businesses with transactional matters such as entity formation and contract drafting and review. In addition, she is a licensed Florida Real Estate Agent and contributes to her family’s business, Pandora Insurance Inc., helping individuals and families with their insurance needs—a combination that enhances her holistic understanding of personal and financial protection.
A Personal Touch
Outside of her professional life, Demi enjoys attending concerts, watching movies, baking desserts, exploring new restaurants across Miami, and spending time at Walt Disney World. She especially cherishes moments with her loved ones and playing fetch with her puppies—values that reflect the family-centered approach she brings to her work.
